    Uploading "Outdated" tracks ?

    Posted by X3LL3N - October 9th, 2019

    Hey there !

So basically, as some of you may have noticed, I improved a lot in the last couple of monthes.

But now I have a problem, and I'd like to ask for your answer.

As a music producer, I start lots of stuff everyday. Some of my projects sound cool and I decide that I'll finish them later.

But overtime, I keep improving and there's a gap between my recent uploaded content and these projects that have yet to be finished.

So I was wondering : should I actually finish and upload them (even with the difference of skills) ? I really like some of them and would like to share them with you guys.

So what I'm thinking about is that I would release those as "Newgrounds Exclusive" and put something like "Old" in the title.

What do you think about that ?

Also, I'd like to add something : some of these unreleased projects were actually *really* inspired by other people's work (I basically remade stuff for fun on a different style) which is one of the reasons I decided not to upload them in the past. Should I also include them with the outdated tracks (as long as it doesn't break the website's rules) ?

I think it would be good to upload the wips, so that people tell you if it is a good idea to follow it and also give you ideas on how to improve it, but that is my opinion :b

Tu devrais upload celles que t'aimes vraiment bien en mettant old dans le titre, comme ça tout le monde comprendrait d'où vient la différence

tu fais écouter une démo et tu demande si tu continu

I know I'm late to the party on this one, but I feel it's always good to upload projects, even if you dont finish. It keeps your fans engaged and they can offer enough feedback to tell you if it's worth keeping and finishing or scrapping stuff. And it gives people like me a reason to check my news feed every day?

Do YOUR thing! Keep on keeping on! As far as I can tell, what YOU have been doing is what YOU a have been doing, and it’s working great! ?

    Thanks !
